Today was held the first day of the American football tournament in Sofia, NSA – Balkan Football League.

The teams of Sofia Bears, Sofia Pack, Obrenovac Hawks and Bucharest Predators claired. From the very first matches, the two Bulgarian teams proved that the level of this sport in our country is rising every year. The Bears team easily beat the Serbian team, and the Sofia Pack, for whom this was the first international match, prevailed even more convincingly over the Romanians.

The battle for the final has already been won by the team of the Bears, who have 2 wins from the first day after their second match defeated the other Bulgarian team. The match was a real spectacle, with both teams starting equally. It was also the first match with full equipment between them. Gradually, however, the more experienced team of the Bears picked up the pace and achieved a convincing final result. The team of the Sofia Pack several times reached near the end zone of the Bears but they never managed to score.

In the other match between the Serbian and Romanian teams, the forces of the Predators were not enough to resist the better physical team of Obrenovac.

Tomorrow Sunday is expected to be very interesting mainly because of the battle for second place – at the first match in a direct battle for the final will face Obrenovac and Pack and this match will decide whether we will have an entirely Bulgarian final or not.

The audience will again be able to enjoy interesting matches, catering, music and sunny weather.
