On September 29, the Sofia Bears will face Bucharest Rebels in the first match of the starting Balkan American Football League (BAFL). 

After a long summer training, during which for the first time the team continued training three times a week throughout the summer, players are now eager to embark on the first official competition of this year.

Later in November, again as part of the BAFL, the Bears will welcome Kraljevo Royal Crowns (Serbia) – a team that the bears have met before, and last season several bear players played for Kraljevo.

Meanwhile, the Sofia team takes an active part in the national flag football and tournaments, and on October 5 there will be a full-equipped direct match between the Sofia Bears and Sofia Hawks.

A tough program, but not impossible for the team representing Bulgaria in the sport of American football at international level. Let's wish you success!
