Bears travel to Bucharest in a match for the Balkan League

On September 29, the Sofia Bears will face Bucharest Rebels in the first game of the new Balkan American Football League (BAFL) season.

After a long summer training, during which for the first time the team continued training three times a week throughout the summer, players are now eager to embark on the first official competition of this year.

Later in November, again as part of the BAFL, the Bears will welcome Kraljevo Royal Crowns (Serbia) – a team the Bears have met before; last season several Bears players played for Kraljevo.

Meanwhile, the Sofia team takes an active part in the national flag football championship and tournaments, and on 5 October there will be a full-kit friendly between the Sofia Bears and Sofia Hawks.

A tough program, but not impossible for the team representing Bulgaria in the sport of American football at international level. Let's wish them luck!
