The young Bears at the youth flag football tournament in Plovdiv
More than 40 children in two age groups, U12 and U16, played the flag football tournament in Plovdiv, and the young Bears were among them.
On 24 June Plovdiv hosted a youth flag football tournament with more than 40 children in two age groups, under 12 and under 16.
The young Bears prepared seriously and held their last practice on the Thursday before the tournament. In Plovdiv they played in both age groups and showed what they had learned during the season.
Flag football is the non-contact version of American football – an ideal way for children to learn the game, build speed and play as a team. If your child would like to try, come to a practice of the Sofia Bears’ youth teams.
