On 10 June the Sofia Bears hosted the Blue Dragons from Belgrade in the last regular-season game of the Balkan League. Two weeks after the 22:27 loss in Belgrade, the rematch at Akademika stadium was again decided by the smallest of margins – 19:20 for the visitors.
The game was a real celebration of American football for the fans in Sofia, with plenty of drama until the very last second.
