Second Annual Sofia Cup Flag Tournament
On 18 September 2011 SC Tigers host the second Sofia Cup flag football tournament, part of the national flag football championship.
On September 18, 2011, Sunday at 11 a.m., at the baseball stadium next to the Technical University, the second annual flag football tournament for the Sofia Cup will be held. It is organised by SC Tigers and is part of the official calendar of the Federation of American Football – Bulgaria.
Its results are also considered for determining the Champion of Bulgaria for 2011 in flag football. It is expected that at least 4 teams will participate in the competition, including last year's champion SC Sofia Bears. There are prizes for the top three teams, as well as one for the "Most Valuable Player" of the tournament.
The tournament coincides with the celebrations of the official holiday of the Capital - Sofia Day, which is why a large audience, media coverage and accompanying events are expected. The tournament will be held as an 8-on-8 round robin, with games of 2 × 15 minutes, and the first two teams will necessarily play the Final.
