The 2024 BFAF championship began with two wins for the champions.
In round one on 9 March the Bears beat league newcomers Zagora Titans on the field. Because of incomplete paperwork on the Stara Zagora side the game went down as a 2:0 forfeit win, but the two teams chose to play anyway, in the spirit of friendship and sport. You can watch the game in the video.
On 23 March in Shumen the Bears faced the Shumen Brewers, who were hit by injuries and had a very tough game. Sofia won 32:6 and took first place in the standings.
